Soporist brings degraded electronics, acoustic instruments and slow-form melodic writing into a space between ambient music, electronica and contemporary classical composition.
The project is built around the details that remain audible around the notes: unstable pitch, granular movement, room sound, worn transients and the small irregularities of recorded performance.
