Here are 26 patches for the Hydrasynth, almost all of which include four Macro controls. I’ve kept these relatively subtle, as I prefer Macros that expand a sound without changing its core character too dramatically. As you’ll hear in the playthrough video, most introduce elements such as noise, filter movement, attack and decay changes, or additional motion, making the patches easier to adapt within your own arrangements.
The bank is made up mainly of arps and pads, areas where the Hydrasynth excels, although many of the sounds can be reshaped into keys or basses by adjusting the attack time and octave. I compose neoclassical, ambient and downtempo music myself, so I generally follow whatever feels inspiring. That was the approach here too: intuitive, musical and not overly considered.
Load the supplied .hydra file in Hydrasynth Manager, then transfer the complete bank or selected patches to the synthesiser.
